Cost Per Member: $35.00 instructor fee, plus $35.00 materials fee (clay). 

Total Cost Per Member: $70.00. Firing fees are not included in the total class cost of $70.00.

Fees must be paid within three days of confirmation or the student will be replaced by an alternate.

A lottery to be held immediately after registration closes if signups exceed the maximum number of participants.

Prerequisite Skill Level of Participants: Intermediate. Must have taken the Beginner’s Hand Build Pottery Class, or provide proof of equivalent, and be a PSCPC member.

Description of Workshop: Welcome to the world of water-based clay sculpture. The class is designed to teach the basic and intermediate techniques for sculpture. There will be additional supervised time during the week to work on your project. A photo of the sculpture we plan to create will be showcased in the pottery window and included in the email that will be sent to all members prior to registration. The goal of the class is to have fun and learn all about sculpting. Even if you haven't taken an art class, what you learn from this class can be applied to other forms of art.

Materials Provided: Students will be provided with all the essential tools.

Students Must Bring: An apron and wear clothes that can get dirty.
